Cubs follow a similar programme of activities to Beavers based around Challenge badges such as  Promise Challenge, Creative Challenge, Global Challenge, Fitness Challenge, Community Challenge and Outdoor Challenge.  These lead to a Silver Award.  

There are also many activity and special interest badges  they can gain either individually or  group. The range of other activities is much wider and includes camping, hiking,  climbing, archery and air rifle shooting.
